The process of selecting and installing custom curtains and blinds can be daunting, perplexing, and unnecessarily expensive – but since you’re reading this, that’s not going to be your reality!

There are so many factors to keep in mind, like the size of the space, the look and feel you’ve envisioned, the ceiling design, the cornice size, and the movement of the sun. Do you need blinds or a second rail with blockout? We can help you with all of these decisions!

From selecting the most suitable fabrics and materials for your space and budget to ensuring accurate measurements and precise installation – there’s really no project too big or too small.

Types of Curtains & Blinds

Our workshop offers all header tapes for curtains, these include but are not limited to the modern and current favourite wave tape, the classic pinch pleat, fan pinch, eyelets or a simple regis tape.

We offer two types of blinds, each with their own features depending on the functionality and/or look you are after.

Roman blinds are made with your choice of fabric, may it be textured, printed or plain. These beautiful fabric blinds can be lined with total blackout, or a polycotton can be used to let some light in. They are available on headrails, or cord operated.

Roller blinds come in a variety of neutral colours and shades. We have total blackout options, medium dim out options, textured options as well as sunblinds which will allow for ample light but no glare. These blinds come standard with a headrail, or can be motorised.

Appointment

During an appointment (in-store or home visits), we guide and advise you according to your needs and taste. Depending on where you are situated, there is a small fee involved for a home visit. Read more in the FAQ section.

Quote

We will send you a formal quotation based on the measurements.

Styling Advice & Assistance

Based on your available budget and ideal look, we will assist in sourcing the most suitable fabric to be functional and durable, and most importantly – look fabulous.

Final Product Approval & Production

Once you’ve signed off on the final quotation we require a 60% deposit to get the production process going.

Installation

Once the production is complete, we will be in touch to arrange for an installation day that suits you. If you will be doing the installation yourself we will call you as soon as your curtains and/or blinds are in store and ready to collect.

FAQ

In-store Appointments:
During a complimentary in-store consultation we consider your needs together with your measurements and photographs of your space to find the most suitable fabrics, colour palette, and textures to get the process started.

Home Visits:
We offer in-home consultations at R600 including fabric selection and professional measurements for a guaranteed fit. (Measurements only = R550)

From building to ceiling plans, to the choice of tracks, fabric, measurements, production and installation – we’re with you every step of the way. We prefer to work with the homeowner, however, we can also work directly with the architect or builder.

We can quote on architectural plans, for that, there is no fee as you will supply us with the window schedule, as well as which rooms/windows you would like covered. This is just to get a figure going and therefore just an estimate quotation. As soon as the floorboards are in, and the ceilings done, we go and do final measurements on site.

If in and around the Northern suburbs we come out free of charge. Any further we charge an upfront fee of R450. This covers your at-home appointment including professional measurement as well as a consultation with regards to fabric choices all of which will be discussed telephonically prior to the home visit to be sure we supply you with suitable sample options. An in-store consultation and/or teams call is free of charge.

We are based in Willowbridge Centre in Bellville in the middle of the strip between Woolworths and Pick ‘n Pay. If you use the footgear entrance, we’ll be the first shop on your left as you pass the escalator.

For curtains we work on a base fee per drop which (depending on your header) can be anything from R275+ per drop. Roman blinds start at R520 per square metre. These prices exclude your fabric cost as the prices of fabric varies and is starting at R250 p/m.

We advise that you book a consultation, however, if you are 100% certain of what you need and want then a consultation is not necessary.

Yes yes yes. Measure twice, install once. We are only happy with a perfect fit and to ensure a perfect fit we need to be onsite to measure and take all nooks and crannies in consideration when working on your order.
