Established in 2014, Summerhouse is a home fabrics and decor store in the heart of the Northern Suburbs, Cape Town.
Known for our extraordinary selection of home fabrics, beautiful cushion covers, house plants and baskets, we offer an inspiring shopping experience for both the inexperienced and veteran decorator.
Our offering includes personalised interior styling, in-store consultations and custom-made curtains, blinds, and soft furnishings.
We are passionate about empowering and inspiring our clients on their decorating journeys and strive to make interior styling more accessible. We are interested in every project and love working with clients to bring a vision to life.

OWNER & INTERIOR STYLIST
I’ve always dreamed of owning a business where I’d be surrounded by beautiful things, and where customers would leave feeling inspired, happy and satisfied – and in 2019 that dream became a reality!
Despite being very happy in my career as Decor Editor at House & Leisure magazine, I decided that it was time for a change, less time in traffic, and more time with my family. I decided to take a leap of faith and buy Summerhouse from the Radowski’s.
My background in marketing and PR, coupled with an Interior Design qualification and more than four years at House & Leisure, made the perfect runway for my new role running my own textiles and interior business.
I love interacting with people and helping them make their decor dreams a reality.
Karen
Karen’s background in clothing importing and manufacturing has given her an incredible knowledge base regarding fabric and the trade as a whole. She enjoys following current decor trends and offers expert advice when it comes to combining different colours and textures.
Estelle
Estelle’s wealth of experience is a major bonus for Summerhouse clients. She is warm and loved by our clients, as she always tries to find a way for them to complete a project within their budget.
Aczeenier
Aczeenier is invaluable to the daily operation of our store, as she makes sure the shop is always spic and span, whilst answering the phone and ringing up sales. All the while smiling brightly! She is a problem solver of note and her cutting is pristine.
