Established in 2014, Summerhouse is a home fabrics and decor store located in the heart of the Northern Suburbs, Cape Town.
Renowned for our extraordinary selection of home fabrics available in-store on the roll, along with beautiful cushion covers and baskets, we offer a delightful and inspiring shopping experience both in-store and online.
Our service offering includes personalised interior styling, in-store consultations, and custom-made curtains, blinds, upholstery, and various soft furnishings.
We are deeply passionate about empowering and inspiring our clients on their decorating journeys, striving to make interior styling more accessible. Every project excites us, and we thoroughly enjoy collaborating with clients to bring their vision to life.

OWNER & INTERIOR STYLIST
I’ve always dreamed of owning a business where I’d be surrounded by beautiful things and where customers would leave feeling inspired, happy and satisfied – and in 2019 that dream became a reality, when I acquired the business from the previous owners!
My background in marketing and PR, coupled with an Interior Design qualification and more than four years at House & Leisure, made the perfect runway for my new role running my own textiles and interior business.
I love interacting with people and helping them make their decor dreams a reality.
Eleanor Tobias
SHOP ASSISTANT
From workshop to showroom, Eleanor brings a wealth of knowledge about the ins and out of curtain production, and different types of fabric. She has a warm heart and is loved by our clients, as she always tries to find a way for them to complete a project at Summerhouse.
Aczeenier Davids
SHOP ASSISTANT
Aczeenier is invaluable to the daily operation of our store, as she makes sure the shop is always spic and span, whilst answering the phone, writing out orders, ordering fabric and ringing up sales. All the while smiling brightly! She is a problem solver of note and her cutting is pristine.
Annelise
INTERIOR STYLIST
Annelise is our Interior consultant with wonderful style and a gentle approach. She works at your pace and with your style in mind. She takes care of everything from renovating a kitchen to choosing the best fabric for your scatter cushions.
